Product testers- Team Feedback

This week we did something we have never done before – we asked our own staff for feedback on our products. Nuts that we haven’t ever done this before isn’t it?! And how interesting the feedback was, we often discuss products from a sales perspective, from a customers view point but rarely do we consider what the service operatives view is on how well these products actually work. We’ve taken a unique approach: turning our own staff into product testers.

Engaging our staff as product testers allows us to identify potential issues. Whether it’s a usability concern or a functionality glitch, our team’s hands-on experience provides valuable feedback. This proactive approach helps us address issues swiftly, resulting in a more polished and reliable product or service.

Not only will this benefit our business but it is also a win win as it engages our staff and gives them a sense of satisfaction knowing their opinion is worthy. This collaborative atmosphere not only strengthens team bonds but also enhances the overall quality of our products by drawing on the collective expertise of our workforce.

We are proud to have our team at the forefront of our decisions, we will continue to involving them in our stamp of quality. B Hygienic have some new ideas for the forthcoming months, we will be showcasing some of our products and also working to obtain more feedback from our customers.

Unblocktober – Save our Sewers and Seas

Unblocktober holds significant importance when it comes to promoting clean, hygienic washrooms. At B Hygienic Washroom Services, we’re excited to shed light on this initiative introduced by Lanes Group and share how you can participate.

What Is Unblocktober?

Unblocktober is an annual campaign that runs throughout October, dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of maintaining clear and clog-free sewage systems.

Why Unblocktober Matters

Protecting the Environment: Unblocktober underscores the critical link between what goes down our drains and its impact on our environment. When sewage systems become blocked due to non-flushable items like wet wipes, it can lead to sewage spills and contamination of waterways. By participating in Unblocktober, you’re contributing to cleaner and safer environments for all.

Cost Savings: Blocked pipes and sewage backups can result in expensive repair bills and inconvenience. By practicing good drain and toilet hygiene during Unblocktober, you can potentially save money in the long run.
Public Health: Maintaining hygienic washrooms is crucial for public health. Clogged sewage systems can lead to unsanitary conditions and the spread of diseases. Unblocktober encourages everyone to play their part in ensuring clean and functional washrooms.

How You Can Participate

Participating in Unblocktober is easy and can make a significant impact. Here are some steps you can take:

Educate: Learn about what should and shouldn’t be flushed down the toilet or poured down the sink. Educate your family, friends, and colleagues about these guidelines.

Choose the Right Products: Opt for biodegradable and septic-safe toiletries, such as toilet paper, to reduce the risk of blockages.

Install Filters and Traps: Consider installing drain screens, hair catchers, and grease traps to prevent debris and substances from entering your sewage system.

Regular Maintenance: Schedule regular maintenance and inspections of your plumbing and sewage systems to detect and address potential issues early.

Promote Unblocktober: Spread the word about Unblocktober on social media and within your community to raise awareness and encourage others to participate #UnblocktoberSewerSavers

Unblocktober serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility we have in maintaining clean and hygienic washrooms. By participating in this annual campaign, you can contribute to the protection of our environment, save on plumbing costs, and ensure better public health.

At B Hygienic Washroom Services, we fully support Unblocktober and encourage you to join us in making October a month dedicated to promoting hygienic washrooms for all. Together, we can make a positive impact on our surroundings and create a cleaner, healthier future. Contact us on 01782 644788 if you would like to discuss how you can make the change!

The Importance of Checking Your Boobs

October is a special month for millions of people around the world as it marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In the United Kingdom, this month is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, celebrating survivors, and educating people about the importance of early detection. One of the key messages emphasized during this month is the significance of regular breast self-examinations.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, with over 55,000 cases diagnosed each year in the UK. Breast cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the breast begin to grow uncontrollably, forming a lump or mass that can be felt during a physical examination or seen on a mammogram.

Early Detection Saves Lives

One of the most compelling reasons for emphasizing breast self-examinations is that early detection can significantly improve the chances of successful treatment and survival. The earlier breast cancer is diagnosed, the more likely it is to be at an early stage when it’s easier to treat. Regular self-examinations help you become familiar with your breast tissue, making it easier to notice any changes or abnormalities. Remember that breast cancer doesn’t always present with noticeable symptoms, so a self-exam is an essential tool for early detection.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the UK serves as a reminder of the importance of regular self-examinations and early detection in the fight against breast cancer. By checking your boobs monthly, you become an active participant in your own breast health, giving yourself the best chance for early diagnosis and successful treatment if necessary. In addition to self-examinations, it’s essential to attend regular breast screenings as recommended by your healthcare provider. Together, we can raise awareness, promote early detection, and ultimately reduce the impact of breast cancer in the UK and worldwide.

Men need to be aware of the importance of checking for breast cancer because while it is less common in men, it can still occur. Breast cancer in men often goes undetected until later stages, making early detection critical for successful treatment. By performing regular self-examinations and staying vigilant about any unusual changes in their chest area, men can contribute to their own well-being and take proactive steps toward timely diagnosis and effective treatment if needed. Breast cancer does not discriminate by gender, and awareness and vigilance are crucial for everyone’s health.

Here is a list of some of these organizations that you can refer to:

  4. The Pink Ribbon Foundation: The Pink Ribbon Foundation funds a variety of breast cancer projects and provides grants to organizations that support people with breast cancer. Website: pinkribbonfoundation.org.uk
These organizations offer a range of services, from raising awareness and funding research to providing support and resources for individuals and families affected by breast cancer. You know that iconic Hertz strapline, “We Try Harder”? Well, consider it our anthem! We’ve taken a page from their book, embracing the spirit of trying. Let’s talk about our amazing team—our secret sauce! They’re the real superheroes behind the scenes, working tirelessly to ensure that even when the unexpected happens, we handle it like pros. These wonderful folk bring a blend of expertise, dedication, and a sprinkle of humor to our daily operations.

We believe in the power of oopsies. They’re like little nuggets of wisdom that help us grow. So, when something doesn’t go as planned, we put on our learning hats, analyze, brainstorm, and take notes on how we can do better next time.

At B Hygienic, it’s not just about the price, products or services; it’s about the journey we take together. Laughter echoes through our office, teamwork is our superpower.

Life’s too short not to have a giggle or two. At B Hygienic Ltd, we’re not afraid to show our imperfect side, and we’re grateful for every moment we get to learn, grow, and serve you better. So, here’s to the oopsies, the Hertz-inspired “try harder” spirit, and our amazing team that makes it all happen with a smile!

Cheers to being imperfectly awesome together!

Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month

September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month

The 5 types of gynae cancers are cervical, ovarian, vaginal, vulval and womb.

The purpose of an awareness month is designed to provide information about the different types of cancer and how they affect people. The gynae cancers all relate to the female reproductive system. Raising awareness is so important to improve early diagnosis.

Cancer screening tests are used to find people who may have cancer or who may need treatment or monitoring to prevent cancer from developing. A cervical screening is a way of preventing cervical cancer, early stages may not cause symptons so screening is vital. Currently there are no screening programmes for other gynaecological cancers. Symptoms can vary depending on the type but if you have any unusual symptons please don’t delay booking an appointment with your GP.
